Burt Sherwood

Burt Sherwood who fought the radio wars at WMCA in New York in the fifties and sixties with Alan Freed, Murray the K and all the biggest jocks of which he was one. Then he became a really big deal and bought his first radio station so he could hire and fire deejays. Then NBC sent him to Chicago to manage WMAQ, thier monster midwest flagship. He's had a hard time staying off the air - even at 72 years old - and you'll hear him all over the place. Now - if you want to buy a radio station - just call him up. He buys and sells the things.
