Multiple Honors for Colton

The latest communique from Brian:

On Friday (2/4/2011) Colton was presented with two awards at his
School Assembly:

1. He was voted by his classmates as most kind, respectful and helpful

2. As part of the FLL Robotics team, his class received recognition in front of the whole school: a day after giving their presentation to the principal AND ALL the teachers (30+) in his school.

Today (2/8/2011) he had three mini-performances as part of "Walk Through The Revolution". He explained the "Writs of Assistance", next he played King George explaining how we would not tolerate insubordination from the colonies, then he played a dying soldier.

"Walk Through the Revolution" is an independent program that teaches the kids about the Revolution. Parents were welcome to attend the 2.5 hour production, a fast-paced Game Show format.

Here's a picture of Colton outside the assembly after he received his awards followed by a video of Colton playing King George - taken by Sheri with her iPhone at the back of the room...
